웹상에 허다한것이 블로그 엔진입니다만 이 엔진을 소개하는 이유는 단 한가지! 한국인이 아닌 독일사는 사람(Matthias Georgi)이 만든 엔진임에도 불구하고 이름을 "신문"이라고 지었다는 사실! Reddit에서 나눈 대화에서 말하기를 옛날에 한국어를 배우려고 했었다고 하네요. 그리고 신문은 기억나는 단어중에 한가지라고 합니다.
신기하기도 하고 재미있기도 해서 여러분과 나눕니다.
아시는 프로젝트중 한국사람이 만든것이 아닌데도 한글이름을 가지고 있는 프로젝트를 아시면 소개해 주세요~

I'm visiting Korea in October and really excited about it,
although I can only speak a bit Korean.
I want to configure Ubuntu Linux to type Hangul characters.
What is the best way to do this?

Problem with SCIM
Thank you very much!
But I have some problems, I did this:
- Installed the ubuntu packages
scim scim-hangul- Added the Korean layout in Gnome preferences
- Configured the hotkey in SCIM
- Started SCIM
- Nothing happens when I hit the hotkey :(
Do you have an idea, whats wrong?

Did you install Korean Input
Did you install Korean Input method service?
It can be found in SCIM Input Method Setup->IMEngine->Global Setup.
Make it sure whether or not Korean is installed.
Additionally, Keyboard Layout in FrontEnd->Global Setup is not related. It can be remained to English(US)

SCIM now works
I logged in with korean language and now the SCIM Applet works!
But it would be great, if I could have german menus and korean input at the same time.

Now it works in English
Suddenly it works in English mode too.
